Overview

Kickass sci-fi heroine versus deadly aliens

Growing up as a Martian on Earth has left Jas Harrington solitary, quick-tempered, and with zero tolerance for fools. All plus points when working as chief security officer aboard prospecting starships.

Jas's latest berth is on the Galathea, which trawls the reaches of the galaxy seeking precious minerals and rare resources. She thinks it's a routine trip. She's wrong.

There's more to the latest planet than meets the eye. If only Jas could convince the captain of the need for caution, but she might as well wish for a tasty meal in the ship's canteen.

All hell breaks loose, and Jas's skills are put to the ultimate test. If she fails, the ship's crew, the galactic empire, and humanity itself are at risk.

Start this fast-paced, action-packed complete space opera adventure today!

About the Author

J.J. Green is a British-Australian science fiction author who believes the science in science fiction includes zoology, botany, genetics, evolutionary theory, social science and psychology. Her characters are real people living with the challenges of existence in future societies, and some are kickass sci fi heroines too.

Her series include Space Colony One, Star Mage Saga, Shadows of the Void and Carrie Hatchett, Space Adventurer.

J.J. was born in London’s East End within the sound of the church bells of St. Mary Le Bow, Cheapside, which makes her a bona fide Cockney. She first left the U.K. as a young adult and has lived in Australia, Laos and Taiwan. She currently lives aboard her starship in Cambridge, UK, with her ship’s cat, called Black Cat, the cabin boy and the chief engineer.
