Overview

As the deep sea once gave rise to pirates, so also did deep space . The crew of The Twenty-Wun Stars is one such group of opportunistic souls. This exceptional group of serendipitous scoundrels find themselves under the leadership of Captain Jake Wade. The swaggering mojo at which this man moves thru life is literally infectious. The Captain and the crew travel the galaxy, always on the lookout for their next big score, with pirate booty for all, and to keep the rum taps flowing in the mess hall.

The Godwynne Mutiny

The crew of the Twenty-Wun Stars would never be the same after they found a couple of stow-aways on board. They were a rather odd match, to be such peas in a pod. He was an average enough mate, a brainy sort, smooth talker, but didn't seem afraid of a scrap either. Part of that bravery had to be that his lady friend, who was always at his side, was of a rather amazonian stature. She had to be every bit of 300 plus pounds and 6 and a half feet tall. Even more striking, she had a set of breasts that entered the room before she did.

In little to no time those two had moved up the social pecking order of the ship. Mister Godwynne had more shade than a little about him. In short order, he had the ear of the Captain. Turns out he had a score under his hat that had the potential to net two billion credits without a shot being fired or so we thought.

It was during this operation I witnessed the superhuman strength of Mister Godwynne's lady, Miss Becka. The ancient earth poets Wu-Tang said it first, but Miss Becka won't nothin ta fuck wit. The score went sideways, shots were fired and a mutiny ensued.

My Name is Uncle Dave, that's what the crew calls me anyway. We are a ship of fortune at best and a pirate ship on our worst days, and this is the tale of the Godwynne Mutiny.

Over three thousand years after the final battle over the soul mankind, between God, Satan, and Nefarious, destroys the earth, a new chapter begins. The resulting hyperspace blast from the earth's destruction flings the last of humanity into the furthest reaches of space on their surviving starships. Over a 300 years passes before these star cast seeds of mankind reclaim the stars, and begin to find each other. The first of the new worlds to find each other and reconnect old humanity on new worlds, would eventually form The Confederation of Republic Worlds. This union would be marked with the erection of the Jara Timekeeping Tower on Jara Prime, broadcasting a synced time throughout the known universe.

This is the Jara Era.

About the Author

I'm sure you have heard of writer's block; well I have writer's flood. Once that floodgate is open...well I'm at it's mercy. The story may be over on the page but the main characters' lives keep going in my head. For that matter one act, interesting characters who have backstories and lives that have to be filled in. It is a torment if I don't write it down. As a result I have a universe, 4000 years of history that starts in a time when the earth was NOT the alleged mythical birthplace of man (if you believe that kind of thing).
