Solid
Applies to nonfiction: Once upon the time they were overpriced. Now, they have reasonable pricing.

One of the best
I'd have given 4.5 stars if I could. Freebooksy is one of the best free promotions out there but the price tends toward the higher range. This may be some recency bias as I found Bookcave to be superior at a lower price.

For free books they're tippy-top
For a free promotion, Freebooksy will garner the most giveaways for me (one step below BookBub). I'd consider them for all free promos. I particularly advise their series promotion.

First thing I book!
FreeBooksy is always the first promo that I scheduled when I plan to run a discount. Consistently good results, and even the few times where they haven’t been great, there’s still a few hundred downloads. I can usually expect a few thousand. Considering the cost is less than a BBFD and you’re guaranteed to get it, I consider FreeBooksy the best promo site.

Great Results
Recently did one for two titles, a rom com and a contemporary romance. I was delighted with the results and saw a good amount of read through with the series. Not bad for the price. Highly recommend.

Expensive but Can be Worth It
The cost can vary by category. My initial submission did not garner many clicks, and Written Media was nice enough to resubmit a free one. The second one wound up getting 1200 downloads. Its worth a try, but it may be more effective to try their Bargain Booksy option for pricing below 4.99.

Brilliant for promoting a series
This is my go-to site for promoting a series. It's not cheap, but it seems to be the only site that produces sales of paid-for books when you have a giveaway of the first book in a series. Plus hundreds of free downloads.

My favorite promo service
Freebooksy, run by Written Word Media, has three standout features for me: 1) It is pricey. If you add the series promo, quite pricey. If you add the reader reach service, very pricey. 2) It performs very well. I'm not completely sure the reader reach thing is cost effective for me. The series promo seems to be. The total number of downloads for a free book is almost always the best of any promotion service I've tried (I haven't landed a BookBub deal). I can usually count on one to two thousand downloads, sometimes more, from Freebooksy. This is consistently the best performing promotion service for me. 3) The customer service offered by Written Word Media is just stellar. I love them. They are very easy to work with. Not that I want to put their staff to a lot of trouble, but if you decide you scheduled a promo for the wrong day, you can contact them and they will change the date without, in my limited experience, any quibbles. Written Word Media keeps offering new services and features. They are so great to work with that I am always interested in trying whatever they offer if it seems relevant for my books.

Solid Offerings
The results are decently okay, but they have other resources too that are worth checking out even if you don't plan to use their promo service. I used them for historical fiction and I think I would use them again depending on what my overall budget is. I think they are a little on the expensive size for the results you get. But they're by no means a bad choice at all. Definitely worth looking into at least if you haven't already.

Worth it
Although the price has gone up, I feel this site was worth the money for the number of downloads and reviews it generated. Good read through with the following books in the series.

Good Volume but too expensive
I've had good luck and bad with FB. When it's good they can drive a lot of volume but it's very expensive, so when they miss it hurts.
