Both Patrick and Aelissim run from tortured relationships in their pasts. Aeli stalked by a troubled friend learns Uncle Bill assigned his best detective, Pat, to protect her and to get away from his own doldrums. The novel paints a beautiful picture of southwest Montana and a strong sense of community. Surprising twists between the characters kept this reader going.

Thoroughly enjoyed reading this book! Characters not too far fetched, or too soppy. All in all a good read.

Not one that blew me away, found that I guessed the next "surprise" every time. Having said that it is still an enjoyable read.
