Natalie lost her best friend/sister-in-law and has such a profound grief that she pushes everyone away, including her husband. She doesn't want to feel anything and Blake means well, but he makes her feel too much. They end of divorcing. Blake loses his brother and thinks he understands how Natalie feels. He knows that life is short and so he decides to see if he can reconcile with Natalie. Will she be able to get past her grief and mend her broken relationship?

I loved this book and cannot wait for more of the Dare Valley series. This book reminds you life is full of unplanned challenges. Blake is a great example of hope. He teaches us to never give up on your one true love even if it is painful at times. It was wonderful to watch as Natalie fights her way back from pain and loss to true love once again in the arms of Blake.. You get laughter, two characters that never leave you, a great story line that never falters and most of all a love that is stronger than ever overcoming many life struggles.

Ava Miles is an amazing writer and once again she has delivered an incredible second chance love story, packed full of emotions and tears. As with most of the heroines in the Dare Valley series, Natalie is an imperfect heroine. If I had to be honest, she is far far from perfect and I was really frustrated with her many times throughout the story. But reading on, I started to understand how and why she acted the way she did. But of course I still think that Blake is far too good for her ☺ Blake is the ultimate book boyfriend to me. I fell in love with John Parker when reading The Chocolate Garden and Blake beats John Parker hands down. He is the lover that every woman deserves to have. I seriously salute him for the patience and unwavering love he has for Natalie. The Bridge to a Better Life is by far the most emotional book by Ava Miles that I've ever read. I was frustrated, I laughed, I cried buckets... Not only is it a romantic love story, it is a story about forgiveness and learning to love yourself. As always, I can't wait for
