Great storyline. I just read it as a standalone so I don't have a clue about the PI's personal life. But the role of her mafia boyfriend seems unnecessary in this book. Also, nothing about her friend Maddy has been mentioned. The characters could use a bit of introduction unless the author did it deliberately so that we would want to read the other books in the series. I really loved the story and the writing style and I would have anyway purchased and recommended her books. This little marketing gimmick was not at all necessary.

Interesting but not intriguing. A quick read with a somewhat complicated story that was still easy to put down and pick up later for as long as it took to read. It does not leave me too eager to read any more of Cheryl's books. It almost seems as she was in too much of a hurry writing this book so she could get on with the next one.

you may think me a weirdo but i really find this kind of books amazing.. like i could not put it down till i get to read everything.. the story is really mind boggling.. the author is great..

Cheryl Bradshaw is a New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author.
