I could not bring myself to read further than chapter 3. There is not a scrap of Regency reality in these pages other than the calculating machine. The characters are unrealistic, the style and termology is questionable. more 20th century American than 19th English. Bo-o-o-ring!

One of those books that make you sigh happily when you finish! A little unbelievable sometimes, but that's what a fairy tale is about, right? I liked Emma and Blake was an interesting character. Good vacation read that made my toes curl and giggle like a school girl! Gave it four stars because some parts didn't seem to fit with the story and it left me confused.
