About this ebook

Love is so overrated

Maya never expected to get kissed when she walked out in her ratty old hoodie (and nothing else) to get the mail. But when a shirtless god jogs down your street, grabs your face, and kisses you… you kiss that man back!

Cooper is on a mission to find the love of his life, and he’s gotten desperate. Over thirty years old with more money than he could spend in his lifetime, he’s ready to spoil and love his soul mate. After hiring the beautiful woman he kissed on the street as his realtor, he’s convinced that fate has led him to her.

Maya doesn’t buy into fate and definitely doesn’t want something serious. She’s not ready to become one of her baggy-eyed friends who all have two or more kids and one or less husband. But when Cooper challenges her to a week of living the married life, Maya dives in headfirst thinking she’s sure to prove that singlehood is really the way to go, even if she does end up falling head over heels.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! This author is an amazing writer. She hooked me in from the beginning and I couldn't stop reading! It's 2am and I finally finished the book because again... I couldn't stop reading! This book has been one of the most romantic ones I've read in a long time! It was funny, her characters were a dream, and I could relate. It was just-right sexy, it had a great plot that had a surprise that I wasn't expecting, and just wonderful. I've read many, many romance novels and have only found 2 series with buying. This one is the next one I'll be buying. The editor also did a great job. I love it when books are edited well!

LOVE this book! a BIG surprise because I don't like romantic theme's (much like the main character)- I'm not even sure how I ended up with it down loaded to read, BUT so very glad I did! This is a Wonderful read!

Cooper is just too good to be true that's why I can relate to Maya"s reaction to him. But I can also relate to Cooper's frustration. The narrative can be trying to one's patience at times but the message is clear and heartfelt.

About the author

Cassie Mae is the author of a dozen or so books. Some of which became popular for their quirky titles, characters, and stories. She likes writing about nerds, geeks, the awkward, the fluffy, the short, the shy, the loud, the fun.

Since publishing her bestselling debut, Reasons I Fell for the Funny Fat Friend, she’s published several titles with Penguin Random House and founded CookieLynn Publishing Services. She is represented by Sharon Pelletier at Dystel, Goderich, and Burret LLC. She has a favorite of all her book babies, but no, she won’t tell you what it is. (Mainly because it changes depending on the day.)

Along with writing, Cassie likes to binge watch Parks and Recreation and enjoys every Harry Potter weekend. She likes kissing her hubby, but only if his facial hair is trimmed. She also likes cheesecake to a very obsessive degree.
