Fearless is a well written story with great characters who have issues to deal with from their past. It's about coming out of your shell, accepting who you are, learning to trust in others, and having the strength to be "Fearless" and fight for what makes you happy. I truly enjoyed getting to know Halley and Kane, and watching their relationship evolve. I volunteered to review an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Great start to a new series! I loved getting to know these new characters. Kane was a solid, attentive sweetheart who knew what he wanted and had the patience to wait for it. Halley is a troubled, scarred young woman with trust issues who had to figure out herself before being able to move forward. Watching them work through things and Halley come out of her shell was emotional and touching. I really enjoyed meeting their family’s too and can’t wait to learn more about phoebe’s story!

I really enjoyed this new book by Carly Phillips. The story of Halley and Kane so sweet and relatable. They have both been burned by others who have taken advantage of them. Halley has developed walls upon her walls to protect herself. Kane breaks down those walls and they are able to find true love together. I can't wait for the 2nd book Breathe!

About the author
Carly Phillips, whose real name is Karen Drogin, was born on July 7, 1965 in New York. She received an undergraduate degree from Brandeis University. She eventually became a lawyer, but never really enjoyed practicing law. After having her first child, she decided she wanted to write a romance novel. Seven years later, she sold her first book, Brazen, to Harlequin Temptation. She is now the best-selling author of numerous romances including Simply Sinful, The Playboy, Summer Lovin', Hot Property, Cross My Heart, and Lucky Break.
