Review from Readers' Favourite:

The Dead and the Missing is loaded with twists and turns and excitement, and had me holding my breath in fear several times, never being one hundred percent sure of how it would end. A.D. Davies is a very talented author.

The plot and storyline isnt something new or interesting. Been used many times by hollywood movies or british detective tv series. The main character Adam Park, is soo frustratingly stupid for a private investigator who had a billion dollar PI company. Naive and not street savvy. And supposedly he has been running the PI business for years. Nothing abt him endears to the reader. Only at chapter 46 or something, the book became interesting....but not much. Before that the book was filled with the stupid exploits of the main character disguised as the 'action' part of the book. Nothing extraordinary or clever to this book.

Good read and main character. Stretches believability with how much a person can be beat up and still function. Ending comes fast with details of plan told retrospectively.
