I hate how erotic books always start their relationship with sex. Also, why is it that when women see a handsome man, they always think about sex? Everything is not about sex. They always seem to be horny when just looking at the person. I see handsome men sometimes and sex doesn't scream in my head. Please write a book that describes their relationship more emotionally instead of physically. Books that shapes the couple for who they are, where they come from, and who they hangout with. Not about books with just sex at first. Also, i hate how all the main guys in erotic books always seem so rugged and caveman like. That is not really what a woman like. They like guys who are gentle, sweet, a gentlemen, etc. And, lastly, no more blonds or white people. Not everyone is white here. It would be good to have people of color. Not all of the characters have to be POCs, but white people are fine too. Just not blondes. Everyone is not blonde.

This book moved along pretty quickly. I thought it was a good book (lots of hot scenes - what can I say? I'm a glutton for them). Good story. I was totally unprepared for what happened. Never saw it coming. I do believe that the book could have used more depth. I look forward to reading the next book about Sam.

Not sure if I like it or not. Interesting story with lots of twists. The romance was only okay because I'm not totally into the BDSM stuff. Could be slow in parts, the torture was written very well.

About the author

Julia Sykes is the USA Today bestselling author of the Impossible Series. She has always kept dark stories tucked away in her mind, so she was thrilled when she discovered that other people actually want to read them. Her books blend romance, suspense, and BDSM.

You can usually find Julia in Starbucks with a venti iced coffee clutched in her hand (two pumps of mocha, liberal half and half). If she's not in Starbucks, you will find her with a glass of prosecco in hand, probably reading Harry Potter. Again.
