About this ebook

For five years, Cecilia Morgan’s entire existence has revolved around playing personal assistant to self-centered former NFL quarterback Wade Carter. Their arguments have been the stuff of legend. But just when she finally gives her notice, his father’s health fails, and she suddenly finds herself in Wade’s hometown. Now if she can just ignore how sexy her ex-boss is starting to look in his Wranglers...

To say CC’s notice is a bombshell is massive understatement. Wade can’t imagine his life without his “left tackle.” She’s the only person who stands up to him, and it’s his favorite thing about her. And he’ll do anything to convince CC to stay—even if it means playing dirty.

Now they’re living under the same roof, getting involved in small-town politics, and five years of fighting is starting to feel a whole lot like foreplay. But when a quarterback realizes he might be falling for his MVP, he’ll have to throw a Hail Mary she’ll never see coming...

Each book in the Credence, Colorado series is STANDALONE:
* Nothing But Trouble
* The Trouble with Christmas
* Asking for Trouble

Really enjoyed it. I love that both CC and Wade don't realise how they feel.abiut each other until he makes.her go with him to his hometown of Credence for 3 months. The ribbing they give each other is fun and it's easy for everyone else to see how good for each other they are

Cecilia "CC" Morgan had six months left on her contract as personal assistant to former NFL great Wade Carter. But having to deal with Wade's latest conquest did it: she was going to hand over her resignation and leave for California. But when Wade's father has a health scare, Wade tells her they're leaving for Credence, and CC doesn't have much choice but to agree. NOTHING BUT TROUBLE is a classic manwhore and sex-starved heroine trope, served Amy Andrews style. Ms. Andrews is one of my favourite contemporary romance authors, but this was not what I expected. It suffers a bit from "first book in a series" syndrome: the town's eligible bachelors are introduced, some eventual female romantic interests as well, along with Credence, in all its small-town glory. Early on, I was already looking forward to what I thought would be book two, a romance that promised to be a very emotional read. I felt it was a more interesting and unusual romance, which deserved to be told separately and with loving care instead of being speedily dispatched. I must admit that I was not feeling the romance between Wade and CC. As I saw it, the romance would not have happened without the forced proximity element. Leaving the second romance for book two, as well as some of the small-town stuff, a lot of which was not necessary to Wade and CC's romance, would have given more room to better develop both stories instead of rushing to the end zone for the touchdown, after countless lateral passes and feints. Amy Andrews' writing is energetic and dynamic, she does a great job with her fictional Colorado town, the numerous characters are all surprisingly well fleshed out, and there are cute critters. NOTHING BUT TROUBLE is a longish novel but a quick and easy read.

I Simply Adored this Book. The author has given us a funny, romantic, lighthearted storyline that will take you back to simpler times with characters you can truly relate to. Her writing style is witty, charming and simply put dreamy. Kudos Ms. Andrews for a wonderful book that kept my heart happy and my face grinning throughout. Wade Carter is a former Pro Football QB that for all practical purposes has the world by the tail. He’s got money, women and a PA that runs every little detail of his life (yes even down to buying condoms for him). But her contract is about to run out and Wade is desperate to find a way to make her stay on. As for Cecilia “CC” Morgan she is ready to leave now. She finally has enough money to leave Denver and buy her dream home on the beach in California. No more taking care of Wade 24/7. But when CC walks into Wade’s office to give her notice, 6 months early, Wade gets a call from his mother that his dad is in the hospital. Wade needs her and she just can’t say no. But to her dismay, Wade convinces CC to give him 3 months while he helps his family at the farm and his dad recuperates. From here the story takes off. The small town of Credence is dying. There are no single women to be found. Wade’s mother and the town council come up with a plan to bus in women for a weekend to see what the town has to offer. A plan Wade is totally against (because he can just see the paparazzi invasion). But somehow CC gets sucked in by Wade’s Mom and agrees to help. Between this crazy plan, Wade working on the farm getting all sweaty and wear jeans instead of suits, CC, a total city girl, is in purgatory. I can’t recommend this charming, heartfelt, delightful story enough and this reader can’t wait to see what happens next in the small town of Credence, Colorado. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars for a very enjoyable read.
