The story had a good start, but as it went on, it became a mystery with someone trying to kill Abigail (with romance thrown in between). The suspect is obvious to the reader so you're left waiting for the chars to find out. With multiple attempts on Abigail's life, you'd think they'd be more cautious in trusting people and start suspecting strange behaviors, but not really. (Esp. the part when Abigail almost drowned & Joseph didn't trust his gut feeling-pissed me off). They could've talked more too.
