I liked the writing style a lot, but the story cuts off before anything really of interest happens. Also, this had so much potential to be steamy but there was barely any steam.

Wonderful rock and roll romance story so far. The story is well written, flows well and is believable. The characterizations are great; the reader gets a good sense of whom each of the players are in this tale. This is a short, quick read but it still packs a punch. A gamut of emotions were experienced by this reader when encountering the happenings with the characters. Ms. Lawson ably sets the stage for part two of this series. She certainly has whetted this reader's appetite for more of the "Wicked" series. Excellent cliff hanger ending to part one. I voluntarily received an advance review copy of this short story and I am leaving an honest and unbiased review. I have no affiliation to this author.

What do you do when you are suddenly on tour with your favorite band of all time? Haley needs an internship for school and when she goes to Wicked Records, she suddenly finds herself sent on tour to assist the sound technician and directly in Jax Jamieson’s world. Jax doesn’t know what to make of Haley, she is honest, odd and captivating. I devoured this rock ‘n roll romance, loving the connection between Haley and Jax. Jax is carrying some deep demons. Haley is coping with the loss of her mom but has an amazing strength and drive to get what she wants. I love her savvy tech skills as she works to develop a software program. What happens when the biggest secret of all is revealed? I have been totally pulled into Haley and Jax’s journey and am anxious for part 2!
