About this ebook

The electric debut novel in the treasure hunting sci-fi adventure series readers are calling "space opera meets Clive Cussler."

When space privateer Kip Keene crashes in the Andes after millennia-long cryogenic exile, he awakens to an unfamiliar world threatened by an old friend. This former ally seeks a powerful Incan artifact that can fix their ruined space craft and return them home - with one problem.

Activating the artifact will vaporize the Earth's atmosphere, killing all life on the planet within days. To save a planet he barely knows, Keene  - with the help of rogue FBI Agent Samantha Strike, who has a personal stake in the matter - must uncover the secrets of the Lost City of the Incas before the world ends.

But in saving this world, Keene might have to destroy his one chance of ever seeing home again.

The Kip Keene series blends the fast pace and exotic locales of classic adventure stories a la Doc Savage, John Carter, Indiana Jones & Clive Cussler with a science fiction twist.

NOTE: this is a standalone novel that can be fully enjoyed without reading any other Kip Keene books.

Just finished this amazing piece by Nicholas Erik's work that I only discovered a few weeks ago. It's a welcome Breeze and what seems to be a post-apocalyptic science fiction era. But to be fair he does write some post-apocalyptic works that I may read after I finish the series. It took me a few chapters to get into it but I like it. If you read the Martian , enjoy Blade Runner or any other sci-fi movie you will like this book.

It was a bit crude in certain places but I loved how the author mixed present day with past legends and rather than gods he used science fiction
