Your Next Big Idea by Samuel Sanders is a remarkable blueprint to creative thinking and practical action. This is an extremely comprehensive ‘step-by-step’ to a thoroughly friendly motivational guide, which can catapult you from standstill to racing in the world of business. There are many skills needed to start up a new business, and idea-creation is one that any serious entrepreneur should not overlook. In fact, I would go as far as saying that without a steady flow of new ideas to both start and propel a business forward, one is unlikely to succeed. Sometimes we just need a new way of looking at things to launch us towards that entrepreneurial success story. I immediately saw the immense value and abundant benefit to what Samuel Sanders is saying here, and I think many people will be thankful he took the time out of his busy life to let us in on the many amazing beneficial things he has learned and put into practice. The book is easy-to-read and the uncomplicated steps are straightforward to follow. Everything is laid out in an engaging manner, from coming up with creative ideas to practical ways to turn those ideas into plausible actions. From his wealth of experience the author has given us a gem that is a workable tool for everyone. Samuel Sanders’ processes for finding your next big idea have been crisply written and catalogued in this practical how-to. This isn’t just for aspiring entrepreneurs though, anyone seeking a fresh look at how they process their thoughts will benefit. Your Next Big Idea is highly inspirational and motivational and one of the very best books I have read on this subject. User-friendly, yet essentially a discipline, if you take Sanders’ advice in earnest you will have a great possibility of coming up with the next hugely successful enterprise! To creative business-minded people everywhere Your Next Big Idea by Samuel Sanders is an extraordinary must read book and comes highly recommended by our team here at Artisan Book Reviews.

About the author

So, what makes me someone to learn about the creation of ideas from?

Throughout my career, I have seen how the idea process works in all different sized companies.

I have started multiple startups both as part of a team and by myself. One of the companies I was a co-founder of was Wundershirt, which at its peak sold athletic training clothing to Olympic athletes prepping for the 2016 Olympics. During the startup growth process, I have been part of multiple incubators and have watched and observed how many startups came to be.

I also have worked for a company that was part of the INC 5000 fastest growing companies. Here I was selected to be a part of the R&D team to help work towards developing new products. Working at a fast-growing company you can see how the ideas come to be and problems are handled by members of a successful small business team.

Finally, I have worked on business development for a company part of Fortune’s Future 50 list and Fortune’s Fortune 500 list.

In my career, I have been watching and creating ideas for all levels of business from the startup phase, to the high-growth phase, and even for large companies.

This has allowed me to have a unique perspective on the idea process and allowed me to look at the whole idea of creativity, problem-solving, ideation and innovativeness from an angle that most people have not seen.

While most of the time I am at work when I am not working though you probably can find me at an amusement park, playing board games or drinking coffee from a local coffee shop. If you have any shared interests or questions on my writing please reach out to me sam@yournextbigideabook.com.

As an English Literature and Philosophy graduate from the University of Birmingham, books are my passion. I believe that books can change the world, even long after their author has gone. So, my mission is to help authors create life-changing and world-changing books! In my 11+ years in the publishing industry, I've worked in-house for an indie publisher, been a freelance editor, and founded The Book Shelf Ltd. To date, I've worked on over 550 books as a developmental editor, copy editor, proofreader, and editorial quality checker. As a nonfiction book coach and editor, I help aspiring authors bring their nonfiction books to life, and I've worked with authors around the globe from first-timers to New York Times bestsellers.

As a writer and an editor, my experience ranges from traditional to commercial to indie/self-publishing to small-press literary journals. I currently serve as the Managing Editor at Prairie Schooner, one of the oldest and most celebrated literary journals in the US. I am dedicated to supportive critique, to empathetic editing, and to the creative exchange of ideas. I'm an enthusiastic and detail-oriented professional editor and writer with a MFA degree in creative writing and ten years of broad professional editorial experience. I bring to each project a unique range of experience, expertise in multiple editorial styles, creative problem-solving skills, clear communication, and an eye for clean, concise copy. From substantive developmental editing to a nitty-gritty proofread, I've helped writers with a range of work across multiple genres.

I have over 17 years of editorial experience working in business-to-consumer and business-to-business environments including, small, mid-sized and Fortune 500 companies, in various industries, from publishing, investment management, pharmaceutical, financial services, utility, to retail. In my work as a freelance editorial consultant, I have had the wonderful opportunity to provide strategic copy development and editorial insight for a broad base of clients ranging from major educational institutions to small business startups.

I've designed books for New York Times #1 bestselling authors, publishing houses, CEOs, nonprofits, new authors, and more! I'm also the author/illustrator of over 40 titles with 100,000+ copies sold. On top of that, I've worked as a publishing director and creative director for one of the country's fastest-growing publishers.
