This book was freaking awesome! It just so happens to mix both of my favorite genres rolled into one. I adore historical romances. But I absolutely love interracial romances especially when they contain sexy Scotsmen. This book was compelling from page one. A wonderful blend of historical facts and an budding love story that couldn't be contained despite the dreadful times they lived in. I've always been drawn to stories( fiction and non-fiction alike) about the War Between the States. If anyone deserved the love and happiness sought, it was surely Malcolm and Elle. Loved it! I will be definitely reading this book again!
