Now Truman Gritt is a trying to get a life for himself and start over until one phone call changes everything once again. When Truman goes running to his brothers rescue he finds their mother overdosed, living in filth and that she had given birth to two siblings he knew nothing about. Being the man who always puts family first, Truman once again puts his life on hold in hopes of giving these two the life and chances him and his brother never had. Gemma Wright’s childhood was the polar opposite of Truman’s. She was born into high society and had a life of luxury but she never felt like she belonged. Leaving that life, and her witch of a mother behind, Gemma now owns her own business. When she spots, a gorgeous man looking lost in the baby aisle at Walmart Gemma rushes to help the stranger. Truman and Gemma’s journey to a HEA isn’t an easy one. These two will face many uphill battles and Truman will have to learn to trust and accept Gemma’s help, something he hasn’t been able to do in many years. Ms. Foster did a beautiful job with the story and I will admit several parts of it had me in tears throughout the journey. I would highly recommend the books to anyone who loves a heartfelt contemporary romance novel. Truman got a panicked call from his absentee brother. No matter their history, he came. There was no way to expect what he found. Actually, the least surprising aspect was seeing his mother, dead from a drug overdose. Quincy, he expected, but not the screaming baby and tiny little girl, both filthy and huddled on a dirty blanket. Two more siblings he knew nothing about. How could he expect to find someone sweet, caring, and hot to advise him on caring for these little ones. Enter Gemma, a Walmart story. This is an absolutely wonderful read, touching, emotional, hopeful, and steamy. The characters should not be the people they are considering their pasts. There are plenty of emotions and problems for both to overcome. Still, the touching story, the friends that are unlikely Motorcycle Uncles. This one stands alone, however, the friends introduced make us ready for their stories as well. I rarely finish a book feeling this good. It's just one of those aaaahhh moments. But don't think their journey is easy or without problems. Hard to put this one down so give yourself time to read it all. An absolutely wonderful story. I'm a sucker for a big guy and babies or little kids. Got one of each in this one. Reviewed for Words Turn Me On

Sigh... another Melissa Foster book that was amazing! Truman Gritt might just be the best book friend of all time. Or maybe the best functional man ever.. because he if he was real, I would snatch him up!! Truman is fresh out of prison (don't hold it against him!). When he discovers he has a baby brother and sister that have lived a rough and horrible short lives. So Truman does what any descent person would do. He takes the kids and raises them as his own. He cares for them so much and is incredible sweet, I was holding my breathe reading. Gemma Wright is not looking for love. She is just minding her own business, shopping one night, when she runs into an overwhelmed Truman who is buying everything under the sun for his babies. Gemma decides to help him. There could not have been a better story than this one. It had me on the edge of my seat the entire book. Babies, beards, tattoos, hot guys who care for babies... and Gemma who is the sweetest lady. Gemma and Truman find love when neither was looking for it, and especially since they are complete opposites, that neither thought much of it, until they get to really know each other... Amazing love story and another hit from Melissa Foster!
