ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! A very well written account about a situation during the Civil War that A MAJOR HISTORY BUFF, such as myself had never even heard about.
About the author
Thomas Jefferson Knight was the only son of Newton Knight. He wrote The Life and Activities of Captain Newt Knight in order to provide a candid portrait of his father.
Ethel Knight was a Mississippi historian and the grand-niece of Newton Knight.
Jim Kelly is a historian, film consultant and the former dean of Jones County Junior College in Jones County, Mississippi. He currently lives in New Orleans, Louisiana.
