About this ebook

Is she the answer to his dreams … or the person who will be forced to destroy them?

He’s a farmer, dammit, not a bookkeeper

When Stetson Miller inherits his father’s farm in Idaho, he’s too focused on crops and yields to pay attention to the financial side of things. The next thing he knows, he’s got a stack of unpaid bills, the bank is threatening to foreclose … and the auditor who’s come to examine his accounts is the sexiest thing he’s ever laid eyes on.

But she’s a city girl, just like the last one who left him at the altar. He’ll guard his heart — but he can’t help wanting her.

She’s checking him out ... in more ways than one

Jennifer Kendall doesn’t mind a tough job, but the handsome Stetson is trouble of a different kind. When he isn’t making her mad, he’s filling her head with all sorts of forbidden fantasies.
The sparks between them fly even faster when the road washes out and Jennifer has to spend the night on the farm. But passion alone won’t pay the bills. Can Jennifer find a way for Stetson to save his farm?

And if she can’t, will he ever forgive her?

Accounting for Love is the first novel in the Long Valley world, although all books in the Long Valley world can be read as standalones. It has some strong language, and oh my, sexy times. If you would prefer the sweet version, please check out the other listing for this book. Either way, enjoy!

Wright created an intense romance which includes family, emotion, and an attraction that that will not be denied. Stetson can't keep his mind off the pretty little accountant in her skirt and heels; her eyes, her hair, her legs, well you get the drift. However, with preconceived ideas of city women, he's determined to overcome his attraction. Furthermore, hurts from the past color his view of Jennifer. You will love Stetson; strong, determined, and manly, his fight for his way of life will grab your heart strings. Jennifer comparison of herself to a 15 year old with the hots for the prettiest boy in the school's hilarious. The attractions immediate and intense. Her boss is rushing the audit, for reasons Wright held close to her chest until the last moment. Jennifer's determined to find a way to save the ranch even though Stetson doesn't believe her. Adding Carmelita's character as a surrogate mother to a 12 yr old boy when his mother died, added much sensitivity and feeling to the story-line. Wright included family dynamics of jealousy and resentment, as she developed her story-line. With well-developed characters, pacing which is in line with the length of the book, and prose easy to follow, Accounting For Love entertains from start to finish. With cruder language than a clean read, if damn, a-- instead of behind, or son of ---, offend you, this book may be a skip as Stetson uses language of the rural country farmer. Also, the love scenes are intense and descriptive, however, not erotic. An entertaining romance the reader will love.

A very nicely written story.Stetson misunderstands Jennifer's efforts to help him,in spite of the slowly growing attraction between them. How she ultimately helps him to keep his property ,it is brought about in a very natural manner.I didn't feel the end was artificially dragged...that is the best part. The main characters are also well drawn

Unnecessary drama between characters makes this seem immature. The characters fly off the handle and make up for no other reason other than to lengthen the book. The proposal is also rushed considering his last engagement.
