About this ebook

Promise to Marry is book one in the New York Times bestselling three-book series Promises.

We were best friends since as early as I could remember. We grew up together. We were next door neighbors. We shared each other's deepest secrets. When I was thirteen, we made a pact: if we were still single by the time we were 30, we'd marry each other.

Today was my thirtieth birthday. I was single. I knew he was single too.

But we were no longer best friends, and a part of me knew that he hated me.

This is book one of a three book series. Books two and three will be full-length novels.

Book Two: Promise to Keep
Book Three: Promise of Forever

Only read first book didn't really enjoy it it ended in a cliffhanger really really short story about 77 pages and the girl the main character the protagonist, I couldn't really relate to her and it just I didn't like her ,I didn't like her personality, I didn't like pretty much anything about her and she just seems really really hoeish. Especially with the ending. I believe maybe if I had read the other two books maybe I would relate more. I however, will not spend more money on this series.👊

A lot of the pages are filled with arguably useless back story from childhood which I had to force myself through like 3 or 4 chapters in a row of. The story is okay I guess from what's here. It's definitely not a full story and DOES end on a cliffhanger though.

After reading the part 1, I at least don't want to read any more. Such stories may happen in reality, but there's a limit to the level of depravity I want to know about when I'm relaxing with a book.
