Yes, the ending was predictable, but in the middle of the day, sitting beside my husband, tears filled my eyes as I took Brett's search for love into my heart. I am 58 and have only just found the right man less than a year ago. So, the story made me stop for a moment and thank God that Brett and I finally got it right. Thanks for helping me remember how grateful we all should be for what we have, as well as for what we do not have.

This was a great book. I stayed up late reading it, I just couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it.
About the author
Lori Nelson Spielman, a former speech pathologist and guidance counselor, currently works as a homebound teacher for inner-city students. She enjoys sailing, running, and reading, though writing is her passion. She lives in Michigan with her husband and a very spoiled cat.
