About this ebook

“I never wanted it to end.” --NYT Bestseller Marie Harte

Aidan Ross might be an engineering genius, but people skills? Not this soldier’s forte. Thankfully, a trusted friend is accompanying him to a make-or-break tradeshow...but then a bubbly redhead hops into his truck, claiming to be his new road trip buddy. She’s a gorgeous distraction he can’t afford. Or ignore.

Delaney Harper comes from a family of engineers—male engineers. With several impressive projects under her belt, she’s on a mission to prove she can hang with the big boys, too. But cracking the sexy, closed-off CEO is tougher than she expects...and hotter than she could have imagined.

With the tempting woman disrupting his carefully planned schedule, Aidan can’t focus on the road, much less their upcoming presentation. The future of his company is riding on this trip, and if they’re to land a huge account, he has to keep his head—and his heart—in the game...

"Driven to Temptation" by Melia Alexander will get your attention right from the start to the end. So, get comfy and tag along with Aidan Ross and Delaney Harper on their road trip. It is humorous and sexy with heartfelt moments. Delaney is an engineer and comes from a family of all male engineers. She wants to prove to her family that she is just as good engineer if not better than any male engineer. Aidan is an amazing engineer and has started his own company. He struggles in the people skills area of the business. Harold White is second in command of his company and a trusted friend that handles the people part. There is an important trade show coming up that could make be a profitable turning point in Aidan's business. Aidan feels good about it because Harold White is going with him. Well, that was the plan. Aidan goes to pick up Harold and instead he finds that Delaney is going instead. Things get really interesting on this six-hour trip. FYI, includes mature content. I received a copy of this book for an honest review from NetGalley/Entangled Publishing. The author has a way of writing that sucks the reader in where you feel like you are on this road trip too. Thoroughly enjoyed this book. I'm looking forward to reading other books by Melia Alexander.

Delaney has been working very hard to prove to everyone, from her family full of engineers to her bosses, that she is just as skilled and capable as any male engineer. She finally gets a chance to showcase her unbelievable talent when she goes to a trade show with her elusive boss, Aidan Ross. Aidan is not a people person and typically leaves the social aspect of owning a business to his number two. He plans for every second and every potential obstacle but Delaney came out of nowhere and Aidan has no idea how to handle her. This was a sweet, quick read. Delaney is hilarious and I found myself laughing out loud at her antics on more than one occasion. The chemistry between these two characters was easily felt throughout the entire story. I'm really hoping that some of the other characters that were introduced in this book get stories of their own! *I received a copy from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.*

3.5 Stars It was a cute light read. What drew me to this book was that Delaney is a woman engineer. I had a little bit of a struggle with Aidan and Delaney though. For me the connection between them just wasn't there for most of the book, but I have to say by the end they sold me on their relationship. The journey there was a memorable one for them. Aidan is by the book in control and then Delaney is fun loving spontaneous. They bring what the each other needs. They struggle not to act on their attraction for each other since Aidan is her boss, but sometimes it's just too hot to hold back. I really did like where Delaney and Aidan ended up.

About the author

A native of Guam, Melia Alexander is the author of sassy, sexy, fun contemporary romances. She’s fortunate to work at The Male Observation Lab (a.k.a. her day job at a construction company), where she’s able to observe guys in their natural habitat. In her free time, she’s busy conquering her CrossFit fears: ring dips, power cleans, and the dreaded 800 meter run. Her family appreciates her attempts at cooking and cleaning, although she uses that time to mostly daydream about her characters, which sometimes results in a burnt meal and a half-cleaned house.
