Wow. Speechless
If you’re looking for a book that hooks you right away this is it. I couldn’t put it down. Saw the book first on booktok in so many videos so I had to get it. Trigger warning: a lot of mature themes. Truly though so well written and definitely the reality for many. 10/10 recommend

A pure work of art! I could not put this book down. I really enjoyed this book. This is the second book by her I’ve read this year. She’s a dope writer!
Tough Read!
This book got me out of a very long slump. I read Mondays not coming back in December and it was so great, after reading Grown, Tiffany D Jackson has made it to my top favorite authors. She tells her stories so well and so raw, I could not put this book down. It gave me R Kelly vibes the whhhooole time. I know it’s not based on him but that just SHOWS how much the abuse of power in men is!!!!I wanted to shake Chanty and tell her to leave, this isn’t right!!! So many young women deal with this and are not heard, especially black women and it is no secret. I wish I could rate this higher than a 5.
